2008 was like having yearlong laryngitis - no, bear with me here on the weird metaphor. 2008 was one long bout of having plenty to say, but finding it all so painful to try to speak that it needed a lot more recovery before it seemed prudent to give it a shot; words trapped with no way to express them. 2008 was a year where nothing much new
