Moscow it is then. I'll do some sight seeing, relatives visiting, cooling (it's still over 30C) and not being in Israel. I'm hoping to save up money during the year and go somewhere else in the summer, a new place. Possibly Italy or even England. Both are relevant to my interests. Oh and fun ( Read more... )

ENJOY!

Why am I not so sure that your winter clothes will be enough...? Heh. You need layers. If it's 6C during the day it's in the negatives at night. Not that I've been to Moscow, it's just a general assumption from living in Cleveland.

Wow. Over 30. It's almost October. I cannot remember how the hell I survived it. Here it's a beautiful 15 right now, and as of tomorrow it's going to be 6-9 at night. Yay. I love it. In a month and a half it will snow, at this rate.

Have a wonderful time.

I didn't like Beowulf that much...but yeah, I think maybe I didn't like it since a lot of it was lost in translation...

My clothes will do fine, but yeah, layers. It's all a question of knowing hoe to dress properly. It is already in the negatives at night, but homes are heated. It may be a long time ago, but I have lived in Russia before and it can get a lot colder then this.

It's almost October

Yup. The heat usually breaks during Sukot, but not this year. And I was so so hoping my neighbor would get soaked. The weather will probably become pleasant right after I leave.

ENJOY!

Thanks! It has been a long time since I've been there.

Very true about knowing how to dress....funny, I'm giving you advice, or appearing to, and I never dress properly myself. I'd layer up if I was only going to be outside, but then I'm inside and I get hot...I don't have a car, so I walk everywhere, and here the weather can change drastically over hours. One morning in January 3 years ago it was 17C. By the time I got home from work it was -4C and there was a serious snow storm, a foot in under an hour. I of course was coatless. Heh.

I hope that the weather in Israel will be better when you get back...

Yeah, I know that you lived there, but that was a long time ago. How long has it been since you last visited?

I was there before my last year in high school, 2002.
