I don't see why not. They work for me, but... well, technically I was involved in their creation, so perhaps they're biased. Once you reach the apartment, you may as well give them a try.

I prefer to call it selective hospitality. I invited Neku to share my apartment, and I would be a terrible host if I didn't give him food along with it. That aside, I doubt if anyone but Neku and I could use the pins anyway, so whether or not it's selfish is moot.
