ok this REALLY SUCKS . the guys from 'empty'( http://www.myspace.com/emptystudio ) got me onto this upcoming compilation . I have to send off a CD with 2-3 tracks fro them to choose from by about the 10th . I am totally BLOCKED , I can't seem to make any progress whatsoever . even ( Read more... )

the place is all cables clothes and cats . better you aren't here 'cause I barely have places for me in front of the gear and/or pc . that sucks . perhaps some time when I'm not so disorganized and have finally put in the non-melting device(ceiling fan) . theres a lot of hearing the same lil bits of songs over and over and over and over again . hmm , mayhaps some vitamin R(ye) will help . couldn't hurt at this point :P

I'm not a musician, but I've had similar 'blocks' with work and assignments when I was in school... I find the most effective solution is ignoring it for a night, going out, seeing friends, and starting fresh in the morning. Sometimes the block comes from pressuring yourself.. and when you lift the pressure, things come more naturally. Good luck :)

You have tons of great stuff, Warren, unless you've had another systems crash and lost everything. Just pick out 3 that you think they'd like and send them.

unfortunately almost all of my stuff has personal meaning 0 things that Ideal with/have been through , the comp. is theme'd . I do appreciate the vote of confidence though :)

It's in moments of frustration like that that you might pull off something really great, just don't get caught up in the fact that you're blocked…it'll come to you!

thanks man . it sucks having so much stuff that was most of the wat done but if you take a close look (not a really really close look) you notice theres so much that needs badly to be redone :( , ah well guess that just means I;m getting more experienced with the production end .
