I'll let Jen know you are interested in getting info about the Postal Service. Just incase she doesn't see your post. (she hasn't been on live journal much lately) P.S. Hope your moms doing ok.
yo O_O hm.. advice. ill try, well for the post office, for me i had a friend who worked there so i got in ok. just when you go there, get the application, fill it and try to get an interview asap. dont be picky about hours or money, because they usually do whatever they feel like. if you work there, expect to work over 55 hrs a week, specially during this season. try to do what i did, and work as a distributer and dock person. you will have to go to postal school etc a lot, to try to move up and take tests. might eventually become a carrier or a window clerk. you can only be a distributer for 6 months, if you dont move up to carrier or window person (if you fail the tests), they fire you. hope that helps :/
As for Postal Service stuff...you skip asking the one person who's whole family, like LITERALLY IS the post office?! >:O But Jen is pretty much on the money there. If you don't pass the tests with an 85% you typically don't last...but it is good money. And if you do work your tail end off hardcore, they usually promote quickly. I can always ask Mum and Dad if you needs more info.
