My nephew was born at about 5:15 this afternoon (Friday). My sister was in real labor for only 15 minutes! The doctors were giving her stuff to delay the birth, but it just didn't work. He was ready to be born! It happened so fast that they didn't even have time to give her drugs for the pain, but she said that it wasn't that bad. Baby weighs

aw! congratulations!!! are you a new auntie? :)

btw, don't be too worried if the baby develops jaundice. it's pretty common and all they do is give him some UV light treatment for awhile and they're fine. both of my nieces and my nephew had it and they're all perfectly healthy.

I'm an aunt through my husband, but this is my first blood-related niece or nephew. I don't think he developed jaundice, but *I* actually did when I was born and I am now completely jaundice free. :D
