It's about 80 (26.7C) degrees out right now. How bizarre. This is Florida, but it makes the whole Christmas thing very surreal. Inside the mall, listening to Christmas songs about snow and stuff, seeing Christmas in its full over-commercialized glory and walking outside where you wish you were wearing shorts because it's so warm. Why not take her picture with Santa? You can do it tonight at the mall. I'm taking Colin and Granite, since Blackie and Dayna were last week.

No, I don't think we want to traumatize her any further. She hates leaving the house, period, and I don't think it would do anything but stress her out! Someday we may have a pet (probably a dog) that would like this, and we'll do it. :)

it does, doesn't it? i told ray i've never felt the same about christmas since coming down here; picking a christmas tree is nothing but weird when you're sweating.

oh well. i'm trying to convince him we need to do it at my parent's place next year. :)

It is weird even to me, and I grew up here. A bit of snow does make it feel particularly Christmasey, but the last time it snowed here was Christmas Eve, 1989.
