My recent fascination with 19th-century English literature has brought about a similar fascination with all things 19-century and English. One thing leads to another. Actually, I've been dying to have a tea party myself. It's kind of a part of the dollfie subculture...you get together with your dolls and friends and you have tea. I think it's because tea parties are darn near a religion in the Elegant Gothic Lolita fashion scene, and EGL and dollfies overlap a LOT.

I heartily second the notion of S. in breeches and pumps, though. He'd probably look exceptionally hot!

Exceptionally hot, no doubt about it. Even a modern-day tux does quite a lot for him, if I do say so myself.

Indeed, breeches and pumps (or boots) make many a regular-looking Austen hero actor even hotter than he normally is. Of course, some of them are hot regardless of what they wear. :-D
