So I had my interview today. I feel it went well. It lasted about an hour. I answered questions truthfully and also in a manner that I thought they would want to hear

That actually all sounds promising...kinda sorta working in a retail environment like you do, I can tell you from a supervisory position that an interview over 30 minutes means good things. The fact that the big wigs would go to lunch after the interview, suggests that you were a subject of conversation....and if the recruiter then called and asked you about compensation...yeah...that sounds like you ar the main person of interest. Most companies would rather hire from within than hire someone from outside. Too cool! Glad it went really well!
