Oooh, a kiss! And a proper one it was :) I was really excited about the letter and was wondering when she would get time to read it and it was worth the wait. Though I was surprised by his neutral tone- so many words about his work and Boromir and so few about the two of them... but maybe that's because so much trust has built over the years and they have spent so much time apart already that thirteen months don't seem long...? I like the bond between becoming a little stronger with every part, I wonder how this will continue in Minas Tirith :) And I hope you'll allow us to witness the reunion of Boromir and Aragorn?! Looking forward to the next part!

It's a matter of trust and also of safety/security, really. Faramir doesn't know what Aragorn feels towards Boromir, and it's basically not really a good thing for the King to show such overt expression of love, even to his Queen. >: I put up the next part, by the way, so you'll know how this continues in Minas Tirith once you have the time. ♥!

This is a chapter that is poised on the threshold of so many things - the before and after for all your major characters - and a balance, a position taken up that is become stiff and a distortion of the body that aches to move, is sometimes difficult to hold. The way that your Boromir begins to 'unfurl' in the company of his brother and the soldiery is a lovely thing. Thanks for sharing.

Oh yes, this is definitely a turning point - both in terms of the setting as they leave the village, and more symbolically, the shifting and change of their own emotions. 8D I'm really happy that you like the interaction between Faramir and Boromir here, lovely. Thank you so much for the comment, and following this through so far! ♥
