» Gender: Male
» Age: 17
» Orientation: Heterosexual. For some reason or another, Minato seems to be quite the ladies man. He makes friends with almost anyone quite easily, but with a mix of his casual and calm demeanor and perhaps a few cups of Pheromone Coffee, he's able to turn almost every single female friendship in the game to something more. While you are given the option to date many of the cute girls, there was never any indication of attraction towards men, so we'll go with heterosexual.
» Personality: Being the quiet protagonist of the game, his actions and thoughts can be left up quit a bit to player interpretation.
Minato is one chill guy. If his typical backward-slouching, hands in his pockets posture says anything, it shows that he is one laid-back kid. Despite the general chaos of the world around him, he seems to take things in stride, never really overreacting. No, if anything he underreacts, compared to his colleagues. Things that would just bother any normal seventeen year-old seem to just pass over him. It would be wrong to say, though, that he is left completely unaffected--while aloof, Minato is rather observant and takes in everything around him. He simply does not let it affect him in the same ways.
While this may seem like a hindrance, Minato somehow manages to be somewhat of a socialite in his own right. While half the game's premise relies on the various social links you can establish with other characters, Minato is given the chance to get to know a wide variety of people. Strangely, he gets along with nearly all of them. Perhaps it's his rather calm disposition, for even some of the most caustic individuals eventually call themselves some semblance of a friend. But despite all the people he knows, Minato still seems to generally keep to himself. He is quiet and relaxed, taking the same interest in playing video games at the mall until midnight to going to bed early to catch an extra few Z's.
He is a man of few words, choosing more to sit back and listen than to jump in head-first to a conversation. When he does engage, he is soft-spoken, usually keeping things short and concise. Despite this, he is not necessarily shy, finding himself rather adept in a variety of different social situations. Minato has his own little sense of humor, but it's as quiet and dry as he is. Reserved and collected, he is good at distancing himself from the emotional side of a situation and is able to make unbiased decisions and evaluate. But that is not to say that he takes the emotional ties he has for advantage--quite the opposite; he is more than willing to sacrifice himself it that's what it comes down to. But don't expect theatrics; Minato can as charming as he is blunt, making him an interesting mix of personality facets that are shown well in the various Persona he can wield.
» Appearance: Minato would fit in very well in the streets of downtown Tokyo. He is relatively pale, with dark blue hair, kept long in the front and often covers his right eye. His eyes are a light blue color, and most of his attire keeps with the blue-theme. He's of an average height, standing at 170 cm with a lithe build. Minato can be seen most of the time standing rather casually with his hands in his pockets, with his head phones either sitting on his ears or draped around his neck. [

» Suitability: Well, Minato is right on the edge of 18 as it is, but he's dealt with a lot of more adult-oriented situations already. The fact that he is rather indifferent about fighting evil unimaginable creatures every night, shooting himself in the head repeatedly to do it, all without batting an eyelash. He's hard to unnerve, and doesn't seem that put off when they had to go to the love hotel, either. There are some definite sexual undertones with some of the female characters in the game as well. He handles all the situations in much the same way: calm and collected.

» "amatomnes" Entry: [ He's really not someone for video-chatting online, text conveys what he needs to, usually, but given the circumstances he's willing to put himself out there a little bit. The feed clicks on sideways as Minato is adjusting the contrast, showing what appears to be one of the Palace rooms. Once he's satisfied, the screen is set up properly, you can see that he's sitting on the bed rather casually. ]
So.
[ Taking the device, Minato uses it to pan the room slowly and carefully, making sure that a general layout of the place is conveyed. ]
Does this look familiar to anyone?
[ Once the camera comes back to his face, Minato steadies the device and starts pushing buttons. Clearly, he's not entirely convinced this is not a typical cellphone. ]
How do I send it...?
» "amatomneslogs" Entry: Waking up to the feeling that someone was watching you was nothing out of the ordinary at that point. Waking up to the appropriately macabre atmosphere of the Dark Hour to get a drink of water after midnight did not phase him. Waking up to a gentle sea breeze, an over stuffed bed, and an ache in pelvis, however, was a little out of the ordinary. Minato was sitting up, sheet covering the lower half of his body as he stared almost blankly across the room. The furniture was much too nice, much to lavish to be familiar. He appreciated the plainness of his dormitory room, nothing to be particularly eye-catching or distracting. This was something else entirely.
Closing his eyes for a moment, he rubbed his forehead, quietly a little put off by the fact that the night before seemed to be a jumble of faint images and sensations that brought his attention to his groin. The girl? He could not remember. Grey-blue eyes opened again, not surprised that the room has not changed. Something was definitely wrong, though he could not imagine what. The Dark Hour? No, it had never really bothered him, and if anything, it was much too bright. Summer vacation was over, so why he be in a nice hotel like this?
It can’t be…that hotel?
Given the feelings that were still lingering on his skin, the possibility could not be negated. He remembered how fuzzy and disoriented he felt that night, sitting alone on an unfamiliar bed. But why would he go there again, and with who?
Carefully, Minato scooted to the edge of the bed, letting his eyes sweep across the room lest something jump out, or at least give him a clue. The room was simply peaceful like this was meant to happen. His shoulders slumped slightly as his feet slipped over the edge.
Why can’t I remember?
Pushing himself to his feet, he stretched out the kinks in his back before rubbing the back of his neck, feeling old sweat caked there. He needed a shower. What he found, however, was something odd wrapped around his neck. His fingers paused on the collar, a light frown bringing his brows further down. That was really not his type of fashion statement-how did that get there? Both hands turned it around, trying to find the tie or clasp that held it together. Instead, they only felt an endless band of fabric.
That’s odd.
And a little disconcerting, but he voiced nothing. He needed to try and see if he could walk back to the dormitory, or school-somewhere he could recognize, and go from there. Maybe if he had his cell phone on him-he always did-he could try and text someone. If this was the work of the Dark Hour, surly another member of SEES was in the same boat.
Good. He had a plan. But first things first…
…what happened to his pants?
