Downsides:

1. I'll probably be the most computer literate person asking you for help. (offset by laughs)
2. No more free movies (offset by increased income)
3. You need to learn to speak with Indian accept (offset by that I made that up)

Believe me, I didn't want to leave the theater, but it ended up being best that I did. Not saying that my job right now is great, but it at least gives me experience to put on my resume when I get around to looking for another job. At entry level, you always take what you can get until you have the experience where you can be choosy.

perminisconious makes a great point: you might start doing tech support and move into a job like that which Jimmy has at the moment.

Always, Christine. But it won't be enough.

You know how hard it is for me to NOT be sassy in all the e-mails I wrote to the district? It's requires acts of will beyond the means of mere mortals.

Your strength is definately in coding, not tech support. You can certainly do the support, but you should probably look for something in the coding field. Finding the first job is the hardest, but once you have a tech support job on the resume, finding something else will be harder.

What I am really getting at is that you should choose which route you want to go, coding or support, and look for a position in that field, as it is hard to change once you get started.
