For some stupid reason, I had it in my head that he was doing a movie based on the Ayn Rand book. This looks much better and fits him more.

Oops, that book was "The Fountainhead".

This look fantastic. Hugh Jackman does excellent movies.

Read the director's credit before blaming greatness on Hugh Jackman.

Also, to refute: Van Helsing, Swordfish, X3.

I guess those weren't Jackman's fault, though :-|

The director is awesome too.

I never saw Swordfish, but I liked the rest. You went to Van Helsing without checking who the director was.

I dunno what it was about Van Helsing. I think it was that the best monster was a henchman. Flaming, lispy Dracula with virtually no menace just didn't do it for me.

Compare Dracula to Imhotep. The latter is infinitely more menacing.

As a side note, Kate Beckinsale is really hot. But then again, I dig goth chicks.

I demand at least a trailer before i get excited, usually, ive been burned before.

I am allowed to be interested however... im assuming this is based off of a book by the same name?

If it's a book, that's news to me. The director's last movie was based on a book, so I wouldn't be surprised. A quick search suggests that the director wrote the movie and an accompanying graphic novel.

Trailer here.

Remember, the actors, plot, etc. are not reasons to get excited. But the director's credit ...

As they say in the biz, YAUS.
