Draco Malfoy is still up to something

Saw the movie for a second time today with my brother, uncle, and cousin. I haven't had a chance to write my full on potentially epic/pathetically fangirly/overwhelmingly geeky (Not sure which it will fall under yet. Could be all three!) review, but I wanted to post some additional thoughts 'cause it was a slightly different experience. It was much ( Read more... )

=D This was amusing for me to read, because I could've sworn we both got it all out of our systems already after talking about it constantly for about 2 days. Who was I kidding!

As for me upon my second viewing (which was actually on Sunday), I noticed more things because I was awake this time. Hahah. What pleased me the most was that none of the acting in this film bothered me all that much. Not even Narcissa (although she could have been better) and not even Gambon-as-Dumbledore (who, I didn't notice until watching GOF in between, has VASTLY IMPROVED.) And I noticed this time that Yes Harry was actually interested in that random muggle girl at the beginning and I was kind of like "huh? wow what was that" XD

It is most certainly NOT out of my system, and I don't expect it to be for a while. Lol. It certainly didn't help that my Luna wig came in today. Bagah! It's so perfect it almost makes me cry. Okay, not really. Just spazz out a lot. Haha. I need to bum some Wizard's Rock off you I think. I'm in the mood. I looked up that WizRock fest btw. It's liek way expensive. O.o

Meh, Narcissa still bothered me, but I'm especially particular about her. GOF was where Gambon did all the OOC yelling that upset me like whoa. He didn't yell at all in this movie, so I'm happy. =) Re: Harry and muggle girl ... sexual awakening? Yeah ... XD She was sortof attractive. Can't really blame him. Well, on second thought, she seemed just as horny as Harry, so ... yeah ... XDDD.

I feel like I'm lagging indefinitly this year with Potter. I remember feeling very put out after the movie was over. Maybe because it was so surreal to be viewing the most difficult book I had to sit through because a) I already knew what was going to happen with Dumbelbore because of stupid internet bastards, and b) it took me a while to read it. But, I agree with all your statements. Alan Rickman totally wiped the floor with the entire cast of the movie. He wasn't in it much, but considering his epicness of book 7, he ruled. And hurray to Draco. It was about time that lil Tom got some good decent screentime. Yes, Luna is priceless. The lion head still cracks me up, it cracks me up because it was in the book and they just 'had' to add it. They score for that one.

I should write a full blown post too. Once I get my (heh) monthly updates about my life out there. Blah.

It was sureal for me watching this movie too just 'cause it's the first one we've seen since DH came out. It's werid watching when you know everything that's going to happen in the end.

I'm sad this book was so difficult for you. It was the one I had the most fun reading (even though three is still my most favorite). I do remember you were most amused with Lav-Lav an Won-Won. ^_^ You should totally cosplay her XD). I kinda knew what was going to happen to Dumbledore just by the chapter titles alone. Heh.

Alan Rickman is strange. There are times I think his acting is way too flat, and then I look at his face and realize all the emotion he needs is right there. In that way, he's like the perfect Snape. ^_^

I LOVED the lion head in the movie. <3.

Looking forward to your posts! Both the HP and life ones. ^.~
