I don't understand why some people drink excessively, especially to get ride of their so called problems. By people I mean my step dad, I hate it when he comes home late and drunk. I could tell by the tone of your voice last night. The problem with people who 'drink' their problems away is that they themselves cannot understand that 'they are' the problem and they cause heartache to those who love them. I hate to say this but he is not going to stop until he gets killed out in the road. He has been in accidents, arguments, etc and has still not figured it out yet. I will stop because this topic really hits me hard because I lost a cousin to it. Love you and when you are ready to move out you know you have a place to stay. And next time he asks for a ride tell him go to hell and call a taxi.
