I've been pimping this comm on my journal. OK?

My f-list is small but there are some kick-arse writers on it!

Are you going to be posting about this community on hay_ew and ewan_hayden?

(I'm catsgocrazy btw, the link doesn't want to come up at the top of the post, what do I do?)

I've been meaning to ping the mods of both comms and ask if they mind but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm still trying to make a freaking banner that looks half way decent *groans*

Um I have no idea why your name isn't coming up. Is it only here that it's happening?

I had thought that on LJ the username(and link) would automatically appear next to or below an icon, but obviously that's not the case. If you notice the username isn't coming up on the person who starts the thread (your two posts last week and mine today), but is coming up on the subsequent comments.

Another weird thing, if you check out my friends page, the username is coming up. There's probably some really obvious tech reason for this, but I'll be dammed if I know what it is.*shrugs*

Er.....*scratches head* I have no clue either. I get the feeling having this comm is going to be a steep learning curve in the ways of LJ.

I'll go play with the set up and hopefully I don't screw the whole comm up.

I gave up trying that idea.

I've emailed LJ a request for HALPPP!!!!! :) so hopefully someone will know what to do

Ok well it seems it's a known problem with the three column layout I chose for here so I can choose another layout that will hopelly let me put a banner up an should fix the problem :)

I changed the layout of the replies which shows the name link in it will that do for now?

Oh I get you, the name comes up if you click to write a comment.

The important thing is if you are happy with it, this comm is your baby! I just thought people might like to know the name of the person who starts each thread.

The banner is really nice, like it a lot! *nods*

As long as it doesn't cause any confusion it can stay for now but I'll have to find a layout that can be customised eventually
