When a model's "d) Other" option has four times as examples as any previous option, that seems to suggest that it is incomplete, or categorizing on something ambiguous.

(d) in my model isn't "other". It's "compound". And it has more examples because it needs more illustration.
For those who lack wide experience with RPGs or games in general, here are examples of (a)-(c).
(a) Simple conflicts in Heroquest, task resolution in BRP, task resolution in GURPS, task resolution in Talislanta, etc.
(b) Amber; Law of Karma in Everway.
(c) is uncommon but aside from Castle Falkenstein, Dragonlance 5th Age (SAGA) seems to fall in this group. Marvel Universe RPG is a clear example.
