Lipstick on a pig

I won't be voting for Obama, but this is ridiculous.  As Obama called it..."phony outrage."  I'm sure he'd be smart enough not to call Palin a pig.  In hindsight, of course the connection would be made to the RNC speech.  Shame on McCain for making an issue out of something as irrelevant as this.

The whole tone of the election coverage is stupid. I'm not paying attention to anything until the debates. I don't care that McCain has 15 houses or that Obama puts arugula on his caviar. Dumb.

It is really looking like McCain's bag to lose.

Yeah, I've adopted a similar principle for myself. Coverage is always trivial, but this year seems worse than ever. Maybe it's just that I've been paying more attention.

As Allen Ginsberg said, "Are you going to let our emotional life be run by Time Magazine?"

Oh, and did you hear, McCain gave two different stories as to whether he did or didn't pay for his daughter's Prius. Are there no principles!
