I laid down on the couch, entangled in a silky warm blanket, with plans to read The Tattooed Girl by Joyce Carol Oates. Daphne decided to join me. She curled up around my neck like a little kitty scarf and I fell asleep. I'm awake now, drinking a cup of hot chocolate and it's raining. I can't wait for Will to get home so we can go play in it.

As cheesy as it sounds, I've had this recent source of inspiration and I feel reborn. I have a plan!
Also, my internet shopping addiction has got to stop. Seriously.

The past few days have been filled with so much fun. Wm actually had two days off in a row so we spent it at thrift stores, swapmeets, vintage shops, antique malls, Long Beach, cafés, Ikea, record shops, etc. I could go on all day, so let's just say it was action packed. Job interview went well. I should be getting a call to set up a 2nd interview. I went in thinking it was a flexible 25-40 hrs per week, only to find out it's really only 40 hrs per week. I don't think I want to work 40hrs a week. Guess I have some decisions to make ( Read more... )
