I've only just started reading "The seven pillars of wisdom" for the first time.

It's jolly good.

It is very jolly good. A hero to an impressionable young boy (although perhaps that was just worshipping O'Toole in the film), but his own words, despite embellishment in places perhaps, leave a lasting impression.
