The prim and the not-so-prim, not to mention the slow

Finally finished A.N. Wilson's The Victorians. A brilliant (and time-consuming) read. I spotted a few factual errors, but come on, which history book doesn't have a few of those? I don't hesitate to recommend it.

In fact, if you have the tiniest bit of interest in British history or 19th century history, you should read it.

I just got that message from them, as well. It seems that this could be some aftermath of Christmas, though, as I don't recall them ever being as slow as this before. I'd actually forgotten about the whole thing, so this is almost like a surprise present.

They've been horribly slow with all my purchases the last year or so. It does feel like surprise presents when the books finally arrive, and that's quite lovely, but sheesh.

Tee hee hee.

That's actually one thing I don't appreciate of all the un-Capote-ish things with this, it's far more explicit that he usually gets. Not that I mind explicit language and such per se, but I want my capote subtle.
