[Scully had been in the library since her arrival, figuring it would make for a better starting point when it comes to investigating the town.

Unfortunately her search was hardly any efficient and the growing sound had her concerned as well. She looks over at Ciel and starts up a conversation--]

Guessing the libray isn't working out for you either?

That's putting it mildly.

[He looked over to see who was addressing him only to see.. another woman he was unfamiliar with]

Are you new to Mayfield? [He guessed, seeing how anyone who had been here for any great duration must have eliminated inspecting the library already]

I am actually. I was hoping the library would offer some additional insight that several others haven't answered.

That's precisely why I'm here as well. [He had been here for a few months already, and had acquired some information, but t simply wasn't enough to make progress] At least, it's one place we can eliminate from our respective investigations.

What were you trying to find more insight on? I haven't been here much longer than you-- however I may have heard something.

[It's not like Scully had a starting point.] Arriving here seemed like the biggest priority that I wanted to look into initially, but it appears as if that led to a dead end. Unless of course, you could offer some insight about that?

And then of course-- the latest events. [She was genuinely more interested in those.] I've been told there's quite a few residents to be aware of: the police department, and the Milkman for some reason.

[He wasn't sure how much information she'd collected already. It doesn't sound like it's been that much] Unfortunately that is something no one is truly sure of. We've all found ourselves here but no one knows why or how it came about.

Such as the angels, or the distant rumbling sound? [Surveying the library before proceeding. They do seem to be alone here but the town is always watching] Has anyone told you not to drink the milk? But only the milk that's delivered daily. It's said to cause some nasty effects.

Hmm.. it's hard knowing where to begin. [Reaching inside his jacket he withdrew a pamphlet, a copy of the same one Nina gave him.] This might be of use.. [Hands the pamphlet to Scully.] It's more of an introduction to Mayfield as well as telling you more about some of the events that have transpired here. I admit, it needs updating...
