Sunday Night: Eureka - Carter Safehouse

Zoe was doing her homework and griping in her head about how unfair it was that her Dad was the sheriff of a small town. In other words it was a typical Sunday night in Eureka.

That is until the phone rang.

"Hello?"

"ZOE?!" came the excited and very LOUD voice at the other end of the line. Zoe winced and pulled the phone away from her ear. "Hey, Jack Junior," she replied as she switched the phone to her good ear. "What's with the shouting?
"YOU'RE ALIVE! OH THANK GOD!"

Zoe winced and gave the phone a weird look. "Jack? What the hell?"

"What about Henry? Allison? Fargo? Jo? Are they all there?"

"Not in my room," Zoe said slowly because Clone!Jack had obviously gone nuts. "What's going on?"

"Nothing!" Jack said from the other end of the line. "I just... you know I love you right? I mean I know it's weird to hear that from a clone and all but-"

"OH GOD!" Zoe shouted into the phone. "IS THE TOWN GOING TO BLOW UP AGAIN?!"

"NO! Nononononono!" Jack replied quickly. "I just hadn't talked to you in a while and I missed you. Hey! Christmas is coming up. What do you want? I'll get you anything you want."

"A car," Zoe said immediately.

"Uh. No," Jack replied. "Not that. OH! God. I need to call Annie. I'll call you back. Love you! Bye!"

Zoe rolled her eyes and hung up the phone. "What a weirdo."
