wait. did i miss something!? are you already on the lines?
no cbc means no news! it seems like we are in the same position we were like a year ago with heu. pickets everywhere...maybe there will be another call for a general strike.
we're already on strike - but not walking out yet, just work-to-rule kind of job action since last week. I think all of the above still apply.
Given that they're ALREADY imposing another garbage contract on us as of tonight, ( http://www.legis.gov.bc.ca/38th1st/1st_read/gov12-1.htm for those of you who like to read this kind of thing) The BC Feds are meeting tonight as well as BCTF to plan a response. I never stopped calling for a general strike, and it seems that now is a fortuitous time.
oh! i just heard that you're being legislated back somehow- by extending the deadline of your contract. way to invent a loophole and exploit it, asswipes. and damn the Vancouver Courier for misrepresenting teachers 'not supervising' children. baah. luckily there were letters to teh editor correcting it.
so far, i have not a) brought wine to my fav teachers or b) treats, but i am working on numbers 7,8,9. xo

#10: Tell teachers that you love them. Say thank you.
That's the kind of support I'm talking about!
