Many people are making updates related to their break and their holiday... well, I'm not going to be one of the herd! I hereby wish to make it known that no such update will appear in my journal! ... Oh, bloody hell.
quixotic- Etymology: Don Quixote 1 : foolishly impractical especially in the pursuit of ideals; especially : marked by rash lofty romantic ideas or extravagantly chivalrous action
Foolishly impractical? You mean, like, going out of your way to define a word for some irrelevant LJ entry? Who's quixotic now? Oh, I am. Because I'm writing this while you're in the room. Now THAT'S foolishly impractical. And fiercely proud of it. You know what's sad? And kind of quixotic? This comment is actually longer than the entry itself. ... Kill it before it spreads!
I can't kill it, I was quixotic in the pursuit of snazz while expounding on Thanksgiving, which actually got hijacked for a quixotic entry on a game. Be glad yours does not yet need to be hidden behind a link-cut in the entry, a pouch in which superfluous text is tucked. It may yet be susceptible to insecticides or rigorous taunting.
