Yes, October is a better month than September, all things considered

It's funny, these past few days I've been watching my fellow students running around, stressing out about their midterms and... I can't sympathize. Granted, I did have a particularly nasty theater history "exam" (in quotations because it was really just a race against time) but it's times like these that my class schedule doesn't seem so bad, even ( Read more... )

Ooh, wolf concert. Strange how appropriate the timing.
Also, our parents are going to declare us insane if we start in with tattoos AND weird hair. Mine is the same color, but um, it hasn't been cut in a while. As in, a long while. Christmas break will probably be amusing in this regard. Now, I just have to steal my PS2 from my own house and all will be gold.

Oh, like they didn't consider us insane already? I'm not really going for weird hair, though. I was thinking about growing it out too, but since I'm getting sick of the color I figured that I should just try to find a reputable stylist and let them do what they can with it. I definitely wish I had gone to the same place our cousins did before the wedding, but I hadn't decided what I wanted to do until the weekend and apparently, many hair salons take Monday off. Oh well. I don't plan on going bald soon so I should have plenty of time to find someplace.

Hi there! My name is Jenn Curtis - I'm a MBHS grad also; just finishing my BS degree. I'm thinking about UMaine for my grad degree - how do you like it?

Hi, Jenn! UMaine is a good value overall if you can get in-state tuition. I don't know if that's going to be a problem for you or not. If they consider you a Maryland resident and plan on straddling you with out-of-state tuition, I can't say I'd recommend it. Also, as far as the science programs go, I don't know very much about them. They recently completed expansions to their specialized biology and chemistry buildings so I suppose that means that they have decent funding, though ( ... )

Find a friend who likes to cut hair and just let him/her go at it. That`s one way to avoid bland!
