As I said to queenmatoki, I didn't think any LJ entry following my rant about the UFC could be anywhere near as entertaining. But I might have been wrong. This isn't exactly funny though, especially at first, but just bear with me.
I like visiting the blog gamepolitics for news on video games that's actually competent. Today, I saw a story about a gamer in Illinois

I just wish Jack Thompson hadn't decided to post comments on a story about suicide as his medium for idiocy.
Just to update everyone, the webmaster did delete the worst of his comments on the site but a couple of hours later Jack Thompson was at it again, accusing the webmaster himself of trying to cash in on someone's death. Can you say "total f'ing hypocrite"?
I did the smart thing this time and took a screenshot showing one of his abusive posts. All I need now is someone in the Florida Bar Association to send it to.

That should indeed be worth major gamer points! Now if only you could participate in getting the Bar against him...
The big question is, why do crazy-religious elderly men take so much effort to discredit? I'm fairly certain that at least one evangelist on television dates back to the Reagan era, and his ideas were bad then too.
