*hugs & cuddles for both of you* It was so awesome to see you guys! I hope I didn't traumatize anyone, my energy went nuts on Saturday. I still think I pick it up from having lots of people around me. :P
I actually got so tweaky that I couldn't focus on anything, and my attention span wore out sometime during the potluck, otherwise I would have stayed for the ball. I've been to one dance practice so far, as soon as I can actually remember what we're doing it'll be totally awesome..
I think Griff doesn't do much fencing yet, he's mainly getting into the fighting, but he'd agree with you on the disappointment of this year. He was actually so disappointed with the disaster of the dayboard (which I missed, so I can only guess by description, but it sounded ridiculously sad), that he's determined to do it himself next year.

It was good to see you too, and I was wondering where you went during the ball... I did notice that your attention span was kind of erratic, though.
I didn't partake in the dayboard much since we're in the habit of bringing our own food 1) because I'm a picky eater and 2) so there's more dayboard food for everyone else. The potluck looked like it was headed for disaster too, until they brought out more stuff and I realized we weren't the only ones who brought and entree.
On the plus side, there's always this event in Bolton, MA that was posted on sca_east... I'll be in southern Maine by then, so it might be worth the drive!
