Definitely, scurvy does not sound fun. These memes give such interesting tidbits into my online friend's lives.

All I can think of is The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, when they're so dehydrated because their ship hasn't moved in eons, because that tool shot an albatross, and guy has to rip open his own arm with his teeth in order to wet his tongue with blood so he can shout out.

I mean, I suppose modern piracy is quite a bit different, but that's a level of ruthlessness that I am not down with.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE going barefoot! One of the best things about summer, I think.

No TVs? do you watch online or do you just really never watch anything at all? I don't watch much, but I would feel a little disconnected from the world if I didn't at least own a TV even if I rarely put it on.
What age do you teach?

I don't know what it is, but it gives me the heebie jeebies.

I go in phases of watching a lot of Amazon Prime and Netflix and Youtube.There is a certain amount of disconnect; I never know what movies are coming out.

I teach high school language arts and reading.
