You’re disgusted by the thought
Of the blood between my thighs.
You curl your lip and
shame me at the sight.
But now I know
You hate the thought
that a woman can bleed absent the strike
of your hand.
So lost in your contempt that
when you recoil you forget
you have no teeth with which to strike.
