Well, human understanding of reality relies on their perception of it, which is probably what changes rather than reality itself changing. However, this is an empirical assumption based on the nature of perception, and cannot be proved. Over time this leads to the common but perhaps foolish assumption that the two are the same, frustration with which might have lead you to post the original message?
