Character History:

It isn't pointed out in the canon of the older games, but in Tekken 6 Lee has his own company: Violet Systems. This company handles robotics and was the company behind the creation of Combot. He uses it to repair Alisa Boskonovitch.
Point in Canon: Prior to the events in Tekken 6, en route to Japan for the 6th Iron Fist Tournament.
Character Personality:
"You need to fight with more class."
For anyone who's faced off with the "silver demon" as he was called in every King of Iron Fist tournament, those words stick well into their mind as he left them to nurse their wounds at the end of a fight. As compared to the rest of the Mishima Clan who are hardened warriors who constantly strive towards victory, Lee is more laid back-- perhaps because he doesn't have the Mishima blood running through his veins. Sometimes, he even gives the impression of not wanting any part of it at all, choosing to fly off to the Bahamas rather than constantly meddle in the affairs of the Mishimas in Japan. In truth, though, he does keep a silent eye on things happening in the company. So while he does show an easygoing exterior, he silently keeps himself up to date with everything he needs to take care of.
When it comes to his familial relations, Lee also holds a bitterness towards the Mishimas because he was raised up to be a dummy for Kazuya and nothing more. But although he may have bitter feelings, he finds it easy to let go of them, choosing to distance himself from such stressful dealings. All the while, though, he keeps a keen eye on the family and anything else pertaining to them.
Lee is a rather shrewd man who likes to work behind the scenes. He deals in the stock exchange and keeps an eye out for the market, which says a lot about how he chooses to take care of stuff. Instead of just answering problems head-on, he strategizes and sets things up to serve a purpose in later situations. A concrete example of this is his establishment of Violet Systems which created the fighting robot, "Combot". While Violet Systems doesn't arise so much in the Tekken world as a strong business, it is equipped with all the functions to deal with high-level technology such as Alisa Bosconovich's system. He also seems very keen about developing technology as seen by his own skill in robotics. It's easy to say that while he won't like to deal with the world at large, he is very dedicated to his own pursuits.
But despite his dedication to work and position as more of a strategist rather than a heads-on problem solver, he can get carried away with victory as seen in his various story modes. When he beats Kazuya Mishima in the fifth King of Iron Fist tournament, he literally jumps for joy and then falls, losing his composure. He picks himself up gracefully, though, keeping it all with class. Also, when he wins at the story mode, he imposes crazy punishments for his family members such as blowing them up with golf balls or making them serve him in bikinis. Nonetheless to say that Lee also has a bit of an eccentric flair to him.
Despite his silly whims of exploding golf balls, bikini-and-bowtie servants and wearing unicorns, Lee Chaolan also has a penchant for women. He is rarely seen without any lovely ladies near him. So surely enough, he'll do his best to charm a few lovely ladies to his side in Siren's Port. Given his laid back charisma, though, he finds it easy to charm them. Just... don't mind his age. He doesn't look like it, anyway. His laid-back, classy attitude is also a huge part of his fighting style. As Jeet Kune Do permits, there must be an economy of movement and Lee doesn't like to waste any moves at all. His moves are quick and efficient. It's the same way with how he deals with things. He prefers not to dwell on things unnecessarily. So if something goes wrong, he'll only bother himself with it until there is nothing else to be done about it. Lee also is able to show his capacity for adaptation, both in fighting and in everyday situations. When G Corporation proves itself just as dangerous as the Mishima Zaibatsu, Lee is never torn. He simply carries on and does what he believes is right. In fighting, he adapts moves from other disciplines that benefit him, keeping himself flexible in battle.
All the while, he acts with enough ruthlessness so he keeps his title of "Silver-haired Demon" for over twenty years. He isn't one to be taken lightly as much as he is bound to treat others lightly with a teasing "C'mon!"
Character Plans: I plan for him to become a major shareholder in either AGI or SERO, depending on who he finds to be a more valuable asset. He will concern himself with matters of the Core, but more importantly, he wants to deal with the corporate side of either company. He finds it terribly similar to the situation back in his world.
