I can't stand the way our SNL reruns are butchered. I was so looking forward to the Drew ep and the went and cut Larry King & The Whitestripes (thankfully I have it downloaded, it's hilarious! And the old late episode was John McCain/Whitestripes...)

I enjoyed tonight's Megan Mullally rerun... I'd like to see her and Shaun Hayes back sometime. The bits that made me laugh hardest were Jimmy's William Hung -OMG, I'd almost forgotten how funny that was!- and (a non Jimmy sketch!!) the Golden Globes with Megan as the bored audience member. YAYNESS - at last, the Teen Choice Awards are scheduled for Aus TV Sunday Sept 5 @ 1pm on Channel 7.  I gotta see Jimmy trip up!

On to the new SNL schedule on Arena -no more nightly shows :(-  It's now;  Saturdays 6.30pm new ep, 11pm new ep repeat, followed by older ep. Sundays 11.30pm another older ep.

not so Live here, but there's no way I'd complain! Simpson-Lachey was pretty good, they can both sing (the Mexican restraunt sketch demonstrated that)... My kinda Saturday, a lazy day. :) I had a TV arvo- Lano & Woodley, more Olympics, the Jen Aniston SNL, yet more Olympics, South Africa v Australia in rugby, yet more Olympics. I've even missed most of the old SNL on late night! It hasn't been perfect tho ( Read more... )

Tonight is 200m time. Hubba Bubba - Thorpe, Phelps, van den Hoogenband, Hackett, Keller, Brembilla... what a race this promises to be!!!
