Just saw this headline on How-To Geek:

"Scientists studying starlight can tell you: Our universe is going dark"

Doctor? Doctor Who? I saw this on your show. Where are you? Help?

Did they say when though? If it happens in a few million years, I am not too bothered about it to be honest...

Then again, the bees are disappearing already!

Billions of years. I just thought it was funny, because of, was it "The Pandorica Opens", where they addressed the universe going dark.

As related to the bees, there was a post somewhere with a gif from Nat Geo I think showing where the Arctic ice is as opposed to where it was or should be. I think we have screwed ourselves royally, and those who are living in denial are just living in denial. We really are the stupidest species to ever inhabit the planet.

We have screwed ourselves indeed. It can't be a coincidence that the weather changed so much in the past few centuries. With the heat wave of the past weeks, our big river Elbe is almost gone. I took pictures today and will post them soon.

Poor polar bears, they say the ice floats are thawing under their paws :(

There's this joke where Earth meets another planet and the planet asks why it looks so ill and Earth says "I have homo sapiens" and the other planet says "I had that too once but got over it"
