You are free to acknowledge or no almost anything that comes up in the [ Small text ] land with my bb's, but if there's something that I don't want Charles knowing I'll definitely let you know, though I don't forsee much of that happening.

Altaïr in canon has a 'strong will' and strong sense of self (or something, idk it wasn't really explained all that well) that makes him very resistant and difficult to mind control, but he doesn't have mental defences to stop his thoughts from really being seen. o/

Kainé and Simon Bellamy

Feel free to pick up anything in [brackets] for either of them, they don't have shields or anything. One of Simon's friends used to be able to hear thoughts, so he's at least a little familiar with it.

Kainé has another voice in her head. Feel free to have Charles hear him if he decides to say something, but lately he's been pretty quiet :O There's more info on him here on my alternate journal for her.

Harry Dresden: His mind is shielded normally. Part of his mental defences for mind magic. Which means if Charles pries he will be assulted by images, sounds, feelings and pain. So warn the guy first. Surface thoughts, however would be available to hear, though he will try to reign it in. Also... if he's mid spell... don't go looking. I think that would distract Harry and make the wrong things go boom and it would hurt Charles too.

Haldir: Would be aware of when someones poking in his mind. He has practise from Galadriel anyway. He won't like prying but surface thoughts would all be in Sindarin anyway.

Hi!!

Charles' 'constant' reading is passive, just unguarded surface thoughts. He does actually have to focus and be consciously aware of an active read so that works perfectly with what you're saying for Harry!

Wrong thing going boom could be an interesting bit of plottiness! ;)

LOL! Sindarin will definitely give Charles pause, because of course he couldn't understand the language. Though it might make him all 'ooooooo' curious about poor Haldir, who will find himself barraged with questions.

He can read her mind, even bring things up to her that he's reading. I would prefer that he not override her mental or physical free wills without us discussing it beforehand, though. The same goes for erasing her memories.
