Unequivocally confirmed: KMFDM are appearing at Peril (Elizabeth St), 5pm, Thursday 16th December.
I tried to tell my kung fu instructor about it, actually.
Me: Kick-ass Instructor Dude, you like KMFDM?
Instructor: Wha?
Me: *patiently* KMFDM.
Instructor: MDMA? Great stuff, that. (*Note: SDCA does not endorse drug use in any way, shape or form.

Quoi, le SNCF? Le Société Nationalle des Chemins de Fer Français? :)

Presumably the SNCF would endorse drug use, if only the legal kind... then again, you never know.
(*Note: That whole 'as we say in France' thing is an ongoing joke- my French comprehension is decent, but don't ask me to put a sentence together. ;] Also, SDCA does not endorse pretending to be French in any way, shape or form.)

Music for me is a way of getting my head somewhere else, and I often use it while writing or daydreaming up things to write. The first thing that came into my head when I heard the chorus of (s)AINT was some sleazy Razors-esque club (neon, brushed metal decor, mirrors etc) with a lot of gothy-looking people in it and this not unattractive redhead in a black leather jacket fighting her way to the door with the aid of a large barstool. Why? I know not. I just like the sound. :]

I'll be the old guy in the black beret... Come up and say 'hello'...

I have this strange mental condition that makes me incoherent when I meet internet-related people. Blame that.

Hey, it was a real pleasure meeting you in RL... OK, so it was in Peril and we were surrounded by dozens of people wanting KMFDM related material (including our good selves), making it a bit difficult to maintain sensible conversation...
But we shall plot!
Of course, that means we need a project.
Hmmm.. I think I'll reread The Shockwave Rider....

Actually, wait, my house is boring as le merde, as we say in France. Let's meet up somewhere.
I'm glad you like it. I was very tempted to keep it for myself, but then I realised that I have no-one to use it with. On. Whatever. (Come to think of it, actually, I might...)

(And they wrote the wrong story title, that sucks! I entered two, but it was the other one that won.)
