. SPRING 2015: STAR WARS THE SUPPLIES MISSION .
Here is where you sign-up for the Star Wars: The Supply Mission!
. EVENT DESCRIPTION .
Your mission is to gather supplies for the rebel troops in order to help them bring down the Galactic Empire. In order to secure the supplies needed, you must travel to various planets where your allied merchants are located. In exchange for the supplies, the Rebels are willing to give you a card in its place.
. MAPPING .
HINT: If you know the game Settlers of Catan, the premise is similar. If you don't, ask questions if you don't understand anything!
BASE: PSD, ZIP
You need to mark where your allied merchants are located on the map (seen below WITH NUMBERS). The asteroid belt around the perimeter also constitutes as a merchant location. Please use the base in Photoshop. If you do not own photoshop, a zip file containing the necessary images is located above to be used on MS Paint or any drawing application.
In order to select a merchant "location" you need to place down FOUR rebel icons in any 3 intersecting areas. These can be in any location so long as they are at least 2 intersections away. This means that this map is incorrect as there are two locations next to each other.
For the sake of this game everyone gets their own map so there isn't any sharing of locations. You can collect from the same locations as any other member [just like in real life].
Getting cards based on your merchant locations is based on two dice rolls. If you notice within each cell there is a background and a number. The background determines the type of supply the merchants at that location are selling. The number determines whether or not the Rebels need that material. The number called is coming from two 6-sided dice that the moderator running the event will call each day for a week (numbers are completely random). Some numbers come up more regularly than others. For example, the #2 will only come up when the two dice are both 1. However, the #8 will come up with any combination of 2 and 6, 4 and 4, 5 and 3, and their reverse orders. Choose wisely. If a number is called that you do not have a merchant location at, you will not get any supplies and thus no cards.
The supplies you get are based on the locations (as stated above). Since your marker is surrounded by 3 locations at any time, if any of those 3 numbers are called you get the card for that slot.
You do not need to check in every day to get your cards, but you can just to see what you get! :)
Example:
The rebels have called 9.
This means that you have received both supplies from location #9. As a reward you have been given the ackbar card and the yoda card.
[Or if the rebels call for #7, you would have only got supplies from the asteroid field and thus only get the falcon card.]
Based on their location, you get the following cards for bringing supplies from these locations:

All members can participate.
Please use the base: PSD or ZIP. The deadline to submit your map is April 27th @ 8:00 PM PST. The map should not be altered in any way EXCEPT to add the rebel alliance logo/location marker. You should not have any more than 4 location markers at any given time. You cannot change/edit/repost your image AFTER April 27th @8pm. If you do, the rebels will not give you any rewards for their supplies. Prizes will be handed out on May 4th, 2015 after the last of the 7 numbers is called. You may earn many prizes or 0 prizes depending on your luck. To collect and master the deck, you need to have 5 of the 10 available cards. There is no payment necessary to participate in this fun event. You have the opportunity to buy up to 15 extra cards IF AND ONLY IF you participated in this event (any combination of 15 event cards) for 3 CARDS A PIECE [max 45 card payment]. You will only have 2 weeks post-event to buy these cards (May 18, 2015). ONE THREAD PER PERSON. If you make multiple threads, the mod will turn to the dark side, cuz at least they have cookies right?
