"Hello there! Welcome to the world of Pokemon! My name is Mango! People call me the Pokemon Prof! This world is inhabited by creatures called Pokemon! For some people, Pokemon are pets. Other use them for fights. Myself... I study Pokemon as a profession. Your very own Pokemon legend is about to unfold! A world of dreams and adventures with Pokemon awaits! Let's go!"
. YOUR JOURNEY .
You're on your way to being the best Pokemon trainer ever. First order of business, you need your starter Pokemon! In honor of Pokemon's 21st Anniversary (yes, Pokemon is now legal to drink and gamble in the US), we are conducting some games where you can gain all four of the original starter Pokemon! Crazy right?!
Before you venture out into the tall grass to catch Pokemon, you'll need your Pokemon to help you out. To get your Pokemon, you're to complete a series of puzzles to gain Pokemon. Yes, puzzles.
. HOW THIS WORKS .
SIGNING UP:
Signing up is simple, just fill out the form at the end of this post, comment, and boom you're done!
THE STARTERS: There are 4 Pokemon you can get from me. One for each puzzle. They are
Charmander (Red)
Strong, loyal, fire dragon Pokemon
Bulbasaur (Green)
Tough, well-behaved, grass seed Pokemon
Squirtle (Blue)
Amusing, independent, water turtle Pokemon
Pikachu (Yellow)
Quirky, strong, electric mouse Pokemon
PUZZLE COMPLETION: Mango will give you a link to a puzzle. Every puzzle is different. Once Mango receives the deliverable for that puzzle from you (which you should comment back to your chain of comments), she will give you the option to choose your starter. For each completed puzzle you will get to choose your Pokemon. It can be any one of the four Pokemon seen above. Once you have selected your Pokemon, you will be eligible to get another puzzle.
COMPLETING THE EVENT: Finally, there is a fifth event card you can claim. This Pokemon card will only be available to those who are skilled enough to complete all the puzzles and claim one of each of the starters. You must have completed the four above and finished all four puzzles to claim the fifth card. No exceptions.

After this event is over, players who participated may buy up to 4 of each of the four starters and 1 extra MissingNo at 5 normal card price (or combination of specials (worth 2 normal)).
. RULES .
All members can participate. Please use the forms below to submit requests/sign-ups. Incomplete forms will not be answered. Do NOT trade event cards before the event ends. No cheating. Event ends February 27, 2016 at 10:0011:59PM PST. To collect and master the deck, you need to have all 5 event cards. There is no payment necessary to participate in this fun event unless you want to buy cards at the end of the vent. These event cards will never be handed out again. ONE THREAD PER PERSON. If you make multiple threads, Professor Mango will stop letting you get Pokemon.
