Van Argiano
Van was both the head researcher performing painful experiments on him and his personal assistant/caregiver/flatterer. While Charles believed he was the dominant figure in the relationship, his emotional immaturity led him to become extremely dependent -- both physically and emotionally -- on Van, who used this to his advantage as much as possible. Secretly using him and plotting against him with Amshel and Solomon, Van planned to kill him as the final step in their research, but this failed when Riku jumped in to take the bullet.

Currently, even though Charles knows Van was lying to him the whole time and resents his interaction with the other Chevaliers, he still hasn't shaken his dependence and desperately wants to be with him again. Even though he'll probably kill him a few times if he ever meets up with him again. It's complicated.

Riku Miyagusuku
Originally taken as a hostage to lure Saya to Vietnam, Riku somehow ended up being the closest thing Charles had to a friend in the short time that they were together. Unaware that Riku has been revived as a Chevalier in their world, Charles is still blaming himself for Riku's death.

Saya Otonashi
She cut off his arm during the Vietnam War and ruined his life. He hated her. A lot. A lot. His entire life ever since had revolved around seeking her out to finish their fight. While he certainly would have taken pleasure in killing her to exact his revenge, as the only person on earth who could kill him and put an end to his miserable life, he secretly longed for that outcome equally -- he just had too much pride and anger to admit it and would never go out quietly.

Until Riku died, at which point Charles didn't deny being responsible for his death or put up a fight when Saya found him -- she killed him and he accepted it gladly.

Diva
The Diva in his world, though violent and unstable, tended to act as more of an unworldly child than anything else, and as her Chevalier, he felt more like a babysitter most of the time. Supposedly, he was her favorite Chevalier (a fact of which Amshel was extremely jealous), probably because he was the only one young enough to play with her, though once he was expelled from the Chevaliers, he didn't have much contact with her. As someone else who has suffered through years of physical experimentation, however, he sympathizes with her in a way the others can't.

Diva's other Chevaliers
They basically treat him as an annoyance and have found many fun and abusive ways of keeping him under control. He greatly resents all of them (although he has a kind of strange fear/respect for Amshel still despite his dislike for him), particularly Solomon.

Blood+

Diva
As far as personality goes, she isn't the Diva he knew at all. They're still technically connected by blood, however, and he has lingering feelings of sympathy and nostalgia toward her and has so far remained with her because of this. This is complicated because of Riku, though -- Charles is aware of what this Diva did to Riku in her world, and she... seems to be intent on doing it again. (Her uh... sexually assaulting Charles while she was in Riku's form certainly didn't help to improve their relations.) Charles doesn't want to oppose her, but will do it if necessary; at this point, his loyalty lies more with Riku than with Diva.

Saya
Also not the Saya he knew, and therefore not even the one who ruined his life, but he doesn't care, it's still Saya and he still hates her. Mostly. A part of him is grateful for her having killed him -- although obviously, it didn't exactly work out perfectly, since he's still existing here -- and another part feels some guilt toward her in regard to Riku. But, he argues, none of this would have even been an issue in the first place if she hadn't ruined his life, and as his entire identity for over thirty years had been built around hating her, he doesn't know how to resolve this.

Haji
He thinks Haji is a pathetic lapdog the way he follows Saya around constantly and listens only to her wishes. Since Charles' main goal in life for so long was to finish fighting with Saya, he hates how Haji has always gotten in the middle of EVERYTHING and has wasted his time and ruined all his chances.

He's also secretly jealous because Haji's got a way better relationship with Saya than Charles does with anyone on his side. Even though he doesn't say much, Haji is somehow remarkably good at getting under his skin.

Nathan
Still jealous of him for having good relations with everyone and he doesn't trust him completely, but he doesn't hate him like he does Solomon or Amshel either. Nathan helps him with things sometimes and is detached enough from everything that he's the closest thing to a neutral chevalier that Charles has, but he's still decidedly devoted to Diva and isn't going to be breaking from her other chevaliers any time soon.

Solomon
Not much like the Solomon he knew, who seemed to take pleasure in tormenting him. He has trouble believing this Solomon isn't just pretending and isn't just as much of an asshole under the decent image he puts forth, but he's starting to see that he's a little different. Charles is still a complete bitch to this Solomon though and will never fully forgive him for things the other did.

Riku
Charles feels terribly guilty that Riku is here and that he's now cursed with the same immortality. At the same time, he's incredibly happy to see him again, even if he won't come right out and say it. Riku is by far his best friend and the only person he really loves in a non-destructive way. Charles is devoted to protecting Riku now in an impossible attempt to make up for Riku's giving up his life for him, even if he does still often end up pushing Riku away when he feels too weak.

Clone (Shaaru-chan/Charlie)
Looks down on him as just an inferior copy of himself rather than as an actual living being, and he sort of resents him for still having both arms and for... being an idiot who looks exactly like him and makes him look bad. However, Charles will probably still protect him because he's important to Riku.

Other

MakubeX
This relationship got off to a really rocky start, since the first thing Makubex said to him was basically "YOU'RE ONE OF THEM". Which he hasn't forgotten, and the frequent suspicion of his motives isn't really helping either, even if it's not unfounded. Charles thinks Maku is self-righteous and controlling and hates how he sticks his nose into everyone's business and always has to get the last word in on everything.

He kind of appreciates the concern, though, and between journals, formerly working together, and now living in the same house, Maku's probably the one he has the most social contact with aside from Riku, and Charles secretly likes the attention even if he ends up being a pissy brat every time they talk to each other.

Things didn't end on such good terms with Charles being demoted and then quitting, though, so they're more strained than usual.

Kimihiro Watanuki
Charles kind of likes and hates Watanuki at the same time, although by this point it's mostly shifted toward the former. Since Watanuki was a Chevalier here for a short time, he's the only one around outside of the Blood+ cast who can really understand a lot of what Charles is dealing with at all, but at the same time, Charles thinks he got off so easy with it all that he's sort of jealous and resentful.

Watanuki's been really nice to him though and tends to play the mediating role between Charles and Makubex. Charles had sort of an awkward semi-crush on him (due to his initially being the only one to understand him at all) that he knew wouldn't amount to anything, but has moved beyond that now.

Tamaki Suoh
Tamaki is ridiculously nice (like Riku), and while Charles initially enjoyed messing with him when he moved in with everyone else, he's grown to like him a lot. Found him a little patronizing at first, but figured out that he's just genuinely being nice and incredibly accepting for a human. He likes having someone to play the piano and speak French with. He also just really likes having Tamaki around so that he isn't the odd man out in the house.

Kazutaka Muraki
Muraki is somewhat similar to Van Argiano in appearance, profession, and interests, so Charles has been drawn to him since their first conversation and has subconsciously used him as something of a replacement. He stayed with him for a while after being stuck on the lower level, and went to visit him fairly often when he wanted to get away from other things. Was in a rather unhealthy unofficial relationship with him for a while, but has gradually broken away from that as he's moved further from his past.

Setsuna F. Seiei
Finds him kind of interesting, although he's not sure why. Charles thinks he's kind of a socially awkward idiot and likes to tease him, but he's quiet and not an obnoxious idiot, and he actually kind of respects his viewpoints on some things. Their views differ too dramatically on some other things, though, so while they've had moments where they almost seemed like friends, they could never come to be very close at all.

Mao
Likes him well enough, really, and considers him one of his least annoying coworkers. He's actually come to sympathize with him in some ways -- both were lied to, abandoned, and killed/almost killed by the people they were closest to, and both can hold some pretty serious grudges.

No longer in Purg

Amshel Goldsmith
Not the Amshel he knew, but not all that much different. While Charles hates him, he also fears and respects him and has more trouble saying no to him than to most. Fortunately this Amshel isn't jealous of Charles' relationship with Diva like the one from his world is, so he isn't subject to so many instances of Amshel trying to fuck him over.

Euphemia li Britannia
She was basically the first here to be nice to him in person without being wary of him, which kind of hit the RIKU SWITCH in him and made him kind of awkwardly attach himself to her. Except rather than a 14 year old boy who he's holding hostage who won't shut up about moths, she was a really pretty older girl who's way out of his league, so uh.

He was never entirely sure what he even wanted from her (although lol he still got jealous of any guy she went out with), he just liked her, and... KIND OF WATCHED HER EVERY MOVE FROM A DISTANCE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. And felt really bad when he disappointed her but wouldn't admit it and was too set in his ways to actually make much of an effort to be less offensive and terrible.

It meant a lot to him that she apparently really did consider him a friend, and will have a lasting effect on him.

Hikaru Hitachiin
Started out with them bonding over their estates in Vietnam, then moved on to them making lots of sarcastic comments to each other for fun. Charles somehow ended up genuinely liking Hikaru, even if he kind of drove him crazy most of the time. Still misses him even if he won't admit it.

Gemma Doyle
First person to speak to him upon his arrival. Charles liked her pretty well; he hates modern youth culture and how no one respects the classics anymore, so he found it kind of refreshing to see someone with similar respectable old-fashioned tastes, even if it was mostly just... because she was from a long time ago. He liked that other people around here could quote the Bible as much as he could.

Nill
She seemed to genuinely enjoy his company and didn't think he was weird or bad despite her knowing the things he's done, so that made him happy. He sort of felt like he was bad for her though, and didn't really interact with her as much as he would have liked to.
