THIS SHOW. THIS POST. MY HEART. I AM AN EMOTIONAL MESS AND I LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM A BAJILLION TIMES MORE EVEN THOMAS (never thought that would be possible). I JUST HAVE SO MANY ~*~FEELINGS~*~.

Julian Fellowes is single-handedly destroying the emotional well-being of something like 15-20 million people worldwide (maybe even 30 or 40 million, I don't know the viewing figures outside of Britain and the USA). WELL DONE YOU TORY TOFF. The way Downton affects people is hilarious - I have several incredibly intelligent and normally articulate friends in RL and on LJ who, when it comes to this show, weep that they cannot bring themselves to talk about it because it hurts them so much and is so stressful. Everyone just flails, or posts pictures and GIFS or rants on Tumblr, and waits to see how the storylines develop or become more emotionally awful. BRING ON EPISODE 3.

This used to be me, BUT NO MORE. Flailing about OMG EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE MY HEART is what this show has reduced me to.
