I've stayed away from this blog for so long. Not really on purpose, I've always wanted to come back and blog again. But my chapter of GACKT frenzy came to an end (although I am still a fan and forever will be), so I guess I didn't feel appropriate to keep writing here

wow long time no see "waves" I'm still here LJ is a hard habit to break but like you I've moved on in the Gackt journey I'm still a fan and still listen when I remember to, but I've gone back to my roots so to speak and have learned to embrace them wholeheartedly so I think I am firmly back to where I truly belong.

yes it's Mary :) I listen to all sorts of Celtic music these days Traditional to Punk and everything in between. My roots are pretty much that my Celtic heritage the songs of Ireland, Scotland Wales and Brittany.

Ohhh, wow. *0* So, it's your heritage! Isn't it interesting how you gravitate back toward a certain type of music? I was going through a few months where I had to listen to the Japanese songs I grew up with every day. lol There's something about them that just move you so deeply, isn't there? =^^=

You are the second person I've seen make their way back to LJ in the past week or so. Crazytown! xD I've never stopped checking lj but I definitely stopped posting.

I do really miss the simplicity of the layout and friends feed on here in comparison to the ADS ADS AND MORE ADS and repeated status updates and memes on fb because their algorithm is all like, oh? there's a new comment on this post? Better bring it to the top again! Or, better show it three times randomly as you're scrolling down.

If only more people could make their way back here but I doubt it.

Hey girlfriend! *waves* lol Yeah, FB really drives me nuts. It's so invasive and caters to popularity. Ugh. And you can't even edit your posts with highlights or crossouts or small/large fonts or colors! So boring.
But I didn't realize LJ was this dead. LOL Oh goodness. I mean, I remember you saying that, but I didn't think it was this bad. Sad, but oh well.

Until I can find another platform where I feel comfortable blogging, I'll just stay here. lol

I really miss all the light-hearted and in-depth discussions we had in the fandom, and not all of them had to do with G. But like you say, we all move on, as we should. :)
