This is not about anyone on here, I swear. I'm just venting in general.

I have beef with people not responding to comments, or texts. Don't get me wrong, it's okay to not respond to everything. I do that, too. Nobody can respond to all comments or texts or whatever, especially when they are loaded with them or really busy. So, I don't want to ( Read more... )

Oh dear to your edit *hugs* XD. This almost sends me on a rant about cell phones and social media, because I have a different view of such things anymore, from experiences of course that really perturbed me, and just my general dislike of most social media(even though I do use it to some extent XD) and smart phones(and I still don't own one either) XD.

I'm really curious about your rant X'D or take on this. Any chance you can share?
I guess I'm mostly bugged by these things becaue I just don't know if I've done something or they're upset with me or they're just busy. In the vast majority of cases, it just turns out they were too busy or didn't think it was necessary to respond or simply forget about it, and I understand that. But I just don't like to be in the position to have to keep guessing. It's a passive-aggresive victim mentality. X'D

In short, I honestly think social media is hurting society. I had this big ole rant in my head about it, but when I go to type it, it decides to take a nice long vacation in the dark recesses of my brain XD LOL

I agree that social media is hurting our society, or at least its benefits outweigh its disadvantages.
lol That is the rant I wanted to listen to, but I totally understand that you don't want to revisit those nasty memories! ;)

My problem is, I go to answer, get sidetracked and think I left a comment back, and forget that I didn't.
That, or I just don't know what to say or it takes me awhile to answer back.
