Law & Order SVU just had a mini-investigation in New Brunswick, NJ -- where I was born and where I went to college. I'm actually pretty surprised it took them this long, but it was neat to see it on the screen, nonetheless.

I just received an email asking me to get in touch with one of my old professors regarding a teaching position opening up for the spring semester. They didn't say which subject it would be...preferably, they'd keep me in mind for the sciences over law and accounting(blech).

Interesting to know.

My dormant desire to cook again has been stirred. I've got my MSL subscription. Bring it on!

I'm going to make an active effort to resist 'hibernation mode' this year.

I randomly woke up around 3:30am and stayed awake for about an hour or so. The majority of that time was taken up with a looping track of one verse and the chorus of Elvis's song Teddy Bear.
