I'm really not a fan of eye-exams because somehow I always feel like I've failed them. I walk away thinking about how I could have been more accurate in my bottom line reading.

I am so homesick. I don't think because I necesarily like home a lot and want to be there, but I feel myself needing to take a moment for me. I feel like I haven't had that for three months. apparently I'm not assertive enough.

I keep playing The first song of the Mountain Goats cd, Get Lonely. I think I like it so much because the lyrics are true to the heart, brutally honest and yet the voice that floats over guitar strums is surprizingly upbeat.
