OMFG If Alec and Tina were to host I'd totally die of excitement. Oh well, I can live with Steve - not awesome but he's a very good choice! Whoot it's time for the Happy Dance now!!!

This is such an awesome day. Alec is gonna be amazing, and paired with Steve Martin, it should be brilliant. I too would've loved to see Tina and Alec hosting together- that would've been the most incredible pairing ever- but I'm still really looking forward to this.

It truly is. Its a good choice and can't wait to see how it all go, but yes, Tina and Alec hosting together would be so epic and they'll really glow on stage. <3 (Though I kind of wonder why two hosts? I know Alec and Steve have a movie coming out on December, but I mean...Oh well. I shan't complain. Tina better make an appearance! :D)

That is such a cool ,excellent choice. I'm sure Alec and Steve will be v. funny and irreverent but if they're both doing it they gotta get Tina in on the act too right??? Surely. It just makes sense. Even if not, this will probably be the first time I actually watch the entire Oscars braodcast or listen to the host. Actually the hosts are sometimes the best bit...they will be this time WOO HOO!

Yes! Tina has to be in at least one skit! Tina presenting alongside Steve last year was hilarious. Seeing her there was a sweet surprise. And same here. Plus, I'm not going to change the channel whatsoever and DVR the entire broadcast to make sure I don't miss a single bit of it. Really excited!

YES! They were so funny together. In fact the rest of the Oscars was pretty sucky last year. What was suckier tho' was that they cut Tina when it aired here in Australia. Grrr. But yes, I will also be recording the whole thing for once, just to listen to Alec's voice. I'd listen to him talk about foot bunions personally. I don't think I'm alone there either. Maybe that's why they hired him for the gig.

You are not alone. And I'll pretty much listen to whatever he talks about and it doesn't matter if its foot bunions or about something nonsensical that even his voice can make it comprehensible. Heh.

And you said yourself: The only way this had to get any better was adding Tina Fey besides Baldwin.

But, we did get The Next Best Thing (Not the movie with Madonna).

That already put a smile upon my face. =)

'Awesome' is part of my daily dictionary so you're not alone ;)

It's so exciting. And THE BEST THING is Alec and Tina sharing that stage together. Even for just a couple of minutes, it is still picture/gif worthy.
