Found this via the rec post. So good, and different? Interesting to make Blaine from California - the LA area even. I wouldn't have thought of it but you made everything, his family, his background, make so much sense. I really, really just like Blaine here. So touching and I definitely teared up once or twice, sigh.

this was really really amazing. you should definitely keep writing in this community! the back story with Julian and how it ended broke my heart for baby Blaine, but the ending, obviously, made up for it.

Wow, I loved this! I've been craving a Blaine backstory fic for awhile, and this far surpassed all of my expectations. I think that lovely is the perfect word for it, it has these subtle nuances that make it simultaneously realistic and beautiful.
