I just adjusted my first ever patient in student clinic today. Being in clinic makess this quarter feel completely different than all of my previous quarters, and it feels pretty fucking awesome. I do have to wear dress clothes all the time, but it's kinda turning out to be not so bad.

Yeah - I was starting to get a little bored with school - which is saying a lot for me. Clinic is frustrating as hell with all the paper work and scheduling and added pressure, but it's worth the extra frustration.

I'll bet, do you guys have to check in with clinicians before you do just about anything? Interns at my schools clinic, especially when they first get going have to check in with damn near everything.

When I'm doing a physical, I need to checkin with the docs like 4 different times. I have to get the docs permission to have xrays done, and there's a tech that oversees that. When I do an adjustment, I find the fixations on my own (I refuse to say subluxation), and the doc sits there and watches you adjust.
