[Well, Zuko still isn't great with the PDA. So have a lovely accidental video of Zuko training by the beach, because to hell with sitting around doing nothing. His swords are drawn, and he's them in conjunction with his firebending against an imaginary opponent. It's quite a sight, even though an unintentional one. Zuko's every action leaks

[Ryohei spends most of his life running around Wonderland. Literally. He likes to run.

But this display warrants some consideration and as he approaches the area where Zuko's practicing, he slows to a stop and watches.]

[Zuko stops and notices Ryohei watching him. He didn't expect another person to be here. Isn't the beach often not occupied this time of year? The prince stretches idly and talks.]

"Uh..Can I help you?"

[There's a little edge in his voice.]

[Ryohei smiles, shaking his head.] You've got some pretty extreme moves!

action;

[Oh..hah.]

"Thank you."

[That edge in his voice? Yeah, it's still there. He doesn't really enjoy being disturbed like this in the middle of practice.]

[Good(?) thing Ryohei's completely oblivious!]

You look really serious about your training. You must do it a lot, huh?

[Great, now he's asking questions. Zuko nods. He goes back to practicing, but..God he can't concentrate with that kid staring at him. Ryohei is distracting, even if Zuko tries to pretend he's not there.]

[Ryohei watches until he pauses again.]

Isn't it hard to practice against yourself?

No.

[Yeah, that's all he's going to get.]

It just seems extremely unrealistic.

[ohgodohgod he won't stop TALKING. Constantly being bothered makes him angry, and as a result, his fires burn stronger.]

Listen, it's not like I have anyone to practice with here.

[Zuko is aggravated, now it leaks through in his expression.]

You're distracting me.

I'd practice with you. [Still totally unfazed by the anger.]

[Zuko stops fighting his own shadow and looks over to Ryohei. Now he doesn't want to burn the kid, but maybe..it would be better this way. Sparring even without his fire could help him keep himself in top condition.]

[He nods, accepting the offer silently.]

Let's do it then.

[Ryohei grins and raises his fists. Having watched Zuko practice, he has some idea of what he's up against, and even without a weapon, he's confident he can hold his own.]

I'm ready!

[Zuko sheaths his swords. Look, he doesn't want to cause serious bodily harm here. He gets into his stance, shifting his core away and raising his hands, but he doesn't strike.]

Are you strong enough that I can use fire?

[Hell, he doesn't know what he's up against.]

Yeah. Go for it!

[He nods and bows to Ryohei before shifting again into his stance. Zuko then tests the waters, so to speak. He crouches slightly and kicks out in an low arch. A medium sized plume of fire explodes from the blow and surges towards the other.]
