why is everyone makingtheir thingies friends only. i remember a time when people though a private journal should be read by everyone with a modem. isnt that what private means?

Since you've got this entry secured as friends-only, the only people who can currently see it are already on your friends list.

Kind of defeats the purpose of making the post, since those you might want to add wouldn't be able to read it.
