Did I go to Wendy's twice yesterday?
I must say I read Gigi's announcement thread last night detailing ADR's being fired and banned and it so lifted my heart. All hail Tragedy!
Listened to my iPod before class again.
We talked about more plant stuff today like axillary buds and horizontal roots and strawberries. I can't stand strawberries.
We went to Alumni Day for history and heard Masuk alumni answer questions about the colleges they currently attend.
People were getting annoyed with the journalism editors crowing reminders for our stories. Peer edit day. Amanda's story about swearing rules. "Who decided that some words were more offensive than others?"
In CW we were in the lab cept Joe and I couldn't find 2 computers next to each other that work so we went to the library. Closed for alumni day even though the computers are in no way affected by alumni answering questions. Joe didn't even go to the library anyway he just asked Flament about the problem set. Then Zach and I went back to the lab and I edited a character profile.
In band it was cleanup day but I had a lesson.
Lunch! I was hungry too.
TODAY'S THE DAY! THE FUNDAMENTAL THEOREM OF CALCULUS! We had brownies and oreos and I wrote "today's the day!" on the board with colors and such.
It's really not anything to be wild about if you're less than enthused by math. Anyway, the food was good except
Sue: *gives me broken oreos* Eat them.
me: *uncertain* What did you do?
Brian: Invalid address, return to sender.
Me: *pause* *eats a small piece of one*
Brian: You pretty much just made out with my girlfriend.
Me: WHAT?
Brian: She licked the white stuff off of those.
Me: ... I'm going to throw up all my food now...
Brian: Garbage can's right over there.
Listening wasn't too bad in spanish. I felt bad for the kid next to me, he got 5 out of 15 wrong.
As I was trying to read the book of wisdom I was interrupted incessantly. First by Brian who helped me with the problem set, second by Justine who told me the lava lamp was malfunctioning(it finally came and I could finally give her her bday present today) and then by Joe who was also talking about the problem set and about our character sketch. At least all these interruptions were important. somewhat.
Work! It was extremely busy, I didn't get dinner till 7:15 and we had to make bread after about 6. We almost ran out by the time I left at 9.
And I'm still celebrating ADR's downfall and all. WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Today's a good day.
